A Happy Ending

This saved us a trip to the hospital for more x-rays. And thank goodness I cleaned my bathroom this week!

No April Fools

"Mom, I swallowed that thing."


"What thing?"
"That thing from the wall."
"You swallowed a nail?"


"Yeah."

So, first to American Fork hospital for an x-ray--sure enough, he swallowed a nail. The GI specialist referred us to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake. After another round of x-rays and a check with a metal detector, they sent us home.

Apparently if an object is less than 5 cm, the body can usually get rid of it on its own (2% chance of bowel perforation), including nails, open safety pins, stick pins, and more! Adam is on some laxatives, and we go for more x-rays in 2 days!

New Arrival

So I finally caved, and we got a puppy. Adam is in love, and so is the puppy. All he (puppy) wants is attention and love. Adam is happy to give him more and more!

His name is Mozart (he came with the name, but it was a sign that he was the right dog for us), and he's half maltese, half chihuahua.
